1.In summer,the place where the temperature is low,place have sun for long time but it is not hot,it must have a large amount of water,especially the ponds that have been blocked for a long time,after drilling deep you can get water.
2.Obseve the ground drainage,groundwater is close to te ground in place where it is often wet and drains the slowest.
3.The place there was drought all around,while only the middle part was wet,also where the crops matured the latest,water was available.
4.There is moisture on the ground at the foot of the mountain,and the moisture rises like fog in the morning and evening or in winter,or there are moss on the sides of the rocks,and places where water often flows out after rain,there all will be water sources.
5.Early thawing in spring,late in winter,and snow on the ground that melts quickly,groundwater sources are generally good.
6.Summer morning or evening,where mosquitoes gather in clusters,ther is a high chance that groundwater sources are prosperous.
7.The water table is high where fog rise in the autumn morning.
8.Winter after freezing,hoar frost appears in the cracks of the ground,the groundwater level is high.
9.Observe the vegetation on the sloping ground,sush as early germination in spring,drought and not withering,there must be water nearby.
10.On the ground where the well is going to be drilled,dig some small holes about two feet,can observe the condition of gtoundwater.The observation method are as follows:
(1)In the morning of spring and autumn,when the sun is just rising,lie on the ground and look slantingly.Where the fog is thicker,the surrounding groundwater level will be high.
(2)Hold a bowl in the small pit.The next day,if the water drops in the bowl are big and larger,the groundwater source is strong,the water is shallow.
(3)In the spring and autumn or in winter when it is sunny,put a smoke-prone firewood in the pit,and the smoke rises straight after lighting.Ther groundwater nearby is good.
